LED Illuminator Head

Luzchem LEDi Heads provide powerful, wavelength-specific LED illumination for laboratories using the LEDi LED Illuminator system. These interchangeable illumination modules are designed to mount directly onto the LEDi Base, allowing researchers to quickly change wavelengths while maintaining the same experimental setup.

Each LEDi Head incorporates seven high-quality LEDs arranged with precision optics that focus all LEDs onto a single spot, delivering intense and consistent light output at the sample position. This design maximizes irradiance while maintaining excellent beam uniformity, enabling efficient illumination for photochemistry, photobiology, photocatalysis, and other light-driven experiments.

LEDi Heads are available in a wide variety of wavelengths across the UV, visible, and near-infrared regions, including single-color heads as well as the RGB multi-color head. The RGB configuration contains two red, two green, two blue, and one white LED, allowing flexible multi-color illumination within a single module.

Each head includes an integrated heat sink and cooling fan to maintain stable operating temperatures and consistent light output during experiments. Because the LEDi system is modular, laboratories only need to purchase the LEDi Base once and can expand the system by adding additional LEDi Heads as new wavelengths or applications are required.
