Luzchem’s Xenon Photoreactor Series provides high-intensity broadband light sources designed for advanced photochemical research, solar simulation, and pharmaceutical photostability testing. Xenon lamps are widely used in photochemistry because their emission spectrum closely resembles natural sunlight, producing strong radiation across the UV, visible, and near-infrared regions.
These systems are built around air-cooled ceramic xenon lamps that deliver stable and reproducible illumination for demanding laboratory applications. The xenon light source can be combined with optical filters and accessories to tailor the spectral distribution and irradiation intensity for specific experimental requirements.
The Xenon Series reactors include a variety of integrated features designed for laboratory use, including digital timers, safety interlocks, optical filters, and power measurement systems to ensure accurate control of irradiation dose. Closed photoreactor chambers provide safe and controlled environments for experiments involving high-intensity light sources.
The Luzchem Xenon Series includes three complementary systems:
-
Solsim2 – A xenon solar simulator designed for experiments requiring controlled sunlight simulation.
-
LZCX-ICH1 – A xenon photoreactor certified for ICH Option 1 pharmaceutical photostability testing.
-
LZCX-Xe – A versatile xenon photoreactor for general photochemical research applications.
Together, these systems provide powerful solutions for laboratories working in photochemistry, materials science, pharmaceutical stability testing, photocatalysis, and solar energy research.
