The Luzchem VIS-Titan is a miniature yet powerful visible light irradiation system engineered for research applications requiring concentrated and controlled illumination. Built using modern high-power LED technology, the VIS-Titan delivers intense and stable visible light while maintaining a compact benchtop footprint suitable for flexible experimental setups.
The instrument produces a collimated beam approximately 18 mm in diameter at a typical working distance of about 140 mm, providing precise and efficient irradiation of samples. Multiple wavelength options are available, including Blue (450–460 nm), Green (520–535 nm), Red (620–630 nm), and Cool White, enabling researchers to tailor the spectral output to their specific experimental requirements. Additional wavelength options may be available upon request.
Despite its compact size—approximately 2 × 2 × 3 inches (51 × 51 × 76 mm)—the VIS-Titan delivers significant irradiance suitable for demanding laboratory applications. Passive cooling and onboard temperature management ensure stable operation and long-term reliability during extended experiments.
The VIS-Titan is designed for versatility across many scientific disciplines, including photochemistry, photobiology, materials testing, photocatalysis, and exposure studies. Each unit includes LED-blocking safety glasses to help protect users when working with high-intensity light.
